主角是一着名主持人，他成功当选了美国议员后，雄心勃勃，并向上帝许下改变世界的心愿。后来，上帝现身，给了他一个“改变世界”的任务，那就是徒手造船，原因是“洪水即将到来”。主角半信半疑，但随着洪水之日的临近，在主角身上发生了许多奇特的事情，而主角的外形上也发生了大变化——俨然一个现代诺亚的样子。周围的人开始把主角当疯子看待，其家人也难以接受他的怪异举止，终于选择离他而去。主角强忍着悲伤，继续造船。后来在上帝的开导下，家人回来了，并帮助主角一起造船。在洪水来临之日，主角召唤了所有动物（雌雄各一只）上船，当他召唤人们上船时，却引来无数讥嘲。当时正值晴空万里，丝毫没有下雨的迹象。就在主角的信念开始动摇之时，他想到了上帝的话，顿时醒悟，造船的经历让他更加珍惜家人与生命，他完成了改变世界的心愿（改变自己的价值观即可改变世界）。这时，一声巨响，保护着这个镇子的大坝突然崩溃了，原来，大坝的建设基金被主角的上司贪污，成了豆腐渣工程，而上帝早已知道大坝的崩溃之日，所以才给了主角造船的任务。真相大白，主角成功挽救了小镇的居民，当然也包括那些曾恶意嘲笑诋毁他的人。事后，主角和家人的关系更加融洽，而他的价值观与追求，也得到了升华，身为议员，他必将为民造福。

潘金莲(1100年—？)，女，汉族，山东省阳谷县人，是《水浒传》中出现的虚构人物，《金瓶梅》对其进行了进一步的深化。
在《金瓶梅》中，其经历、性格、生活等得到了多方面的二次创作，从而被塑造成一个美丽风流、心狠手辣、搬弄是非、淫欲无度的女人。西门庆的第五房妾，最后死于天伤星行者武松之手。
人物之死：
在《金瓶梅》中，潘金莲是情欲的最高代表及书中死亡之最惨烈者。她是情欲的化身，这情欲不仅仅只指性欲方面，也指她充满了旺盛的生命力。书中潘金莲情欲失控，致人死者有武大郎、李瓶儿母子、宋惠莲、西门庆诸人。
众多评论家称之为杀人兇手，对武松活剐潘金莲如此惨无人道之事拍手称快，恨不能手刃其人。尽管亦有不少人对潘金莲之死深感悲哀与同情，但是，潘金莲被钉上耻辱的十字架永无翻身之日，却是不争的事实。
在《水浒》中，武松杀之时为抓住发髻揪倒在地，开胸剖肚，掏出心肝五脏祭兄，并斩首用于祭祀。
