作曲家Mika，原名Micheal Holbrook Penniman 1983年8月18日生于黎巴嫩首都贝鲁特一个美黎联姻的家庭（他的父亲是美国人，母亲是黎巴嫩人）。因为战乱，Mika一家不得不在Mika十分小的时候带他逃离黎巴嫩，幼年时期随着家人辗转巴黎，他9岁时，全家才在伦敦定居下来。 经过了那段充满迷惑和巨变的时光，Mika变得十分内向，9岁时曾一度辍学，也正是从那时起他选择了音乐来给予他庇护。

Mika（1983年8月18日─），英国创作歌手、音乐家，出生于黎巴嫩。由于战乱，Mika幼年时举家逃离黎巴嫩，随着家人辗转至巴黎，在他9岁时，全家移往伦敦定居。儿时不安定的时光，让他变得封闭内向。但是，音乐就像守护神般，陪他度过童年生活。Mika的音乐辨识度极高，忽男忽女的唱腔和戏剧性的风格让他获得“英国新世代音乐鬼才”的美誉。2012年8月，Mika在杂志《Instinct》正式出柜，表示自己是同性恋。
