底特律的八英里大街是两个世界的界限，黑与白，贫与富的分界线。Eminem饰演了一位业余的rap歌手，在rap的音乐形式中，黑人是绝对的王者，而眼前的Eminem，内敛腼腆的白人，然而他的内在，他的歌声却同样蕴藏了不可抑制的激情。

深夜幽暗的街道，白雾在街道间漂浮，寒冷，静谧破烂的汽车，可爱的妹妹，与自己同龄的酒鬼继父，一份压模厂的工作，混乱放肆的生活……除了音乐，找不到快乐的理由。清晨坐在公车上，看着外面荒凉而熟悉的情景，在破烂的纸片上记下迅速而来的灵感，孤独，无奈还有坚定。

与世界格格不入，满腔只有愤怒和愤怒化来的歌词。Eminem 眼神永远是抽离于正常之外，却带着尖锐，自嘲，逼人心灵的怒火。我明白，梦想与现实太过遥远。

电影《八英里》让我们看到在贫困与盲目边缘骚动与挣扎的年轻人，他们积极地抵抗着的不仅仅是八英大街的世界，而是要挣脱这个城市的界限，到达八英里以外的世界。

界线常常是人们心理上的一条线，人为的痕迹浓重。他们从小生活在不尽人意的环境中，有放荡不羁的生活，但这一些并没有束缚住Eminem那颗想飞的心，音乐是他缓解与摆脱孤寂与压抑的唯一方式，他用舌头操着这所谓的自由世界，我信任这样的声音，它真实直白不虚张声势，一点也不造作。

二年前，《八英里》在奥斯卡和格莱美大放异彩的时候，我看见Eminem站在领奖台上，四周都是黑人。他的眼神坦荡，没有一丝害怕，犀利而明亮。这个时候，他早已是世界顶尖的raper。他将内在所有的灵感融入歌中，用他的方式演泽。他告诉记者：《八英里》几乎是他的自传。包括放任他不管的母亲，让他怜爱的妹妹，那飚歌舞台的完败还有失去的爱情。现在的Emine，特别宠爱自己的女儿，我们看到了他内心最柔软的地方。

每个人都有边界，自我对情感，事业，道德等等的选择就是你的边界，这个世界充满矛盾是因为每个人的心里界线都不同。虽然有社会标准，但社会化的标准只是表面形式，它并不可靠，更多时候它只是在社会形态里起作用。

每一处人群聚集的地域都有一条大街一座城墙或一条河流，它以静默的方式分着人群，不知不觉我们理所当然地习惯了，别人的经验变成了我们的经验，因此我们的眼中就流露出别样的神色。

八英里的现场看不到温存与同情，八英里以外又是什么？Eminem 也许觉得努力与幻想都是积极的生活态度，要不然，失去安慰的我们真会活不下去。
