Recently living in 'Paradise',I found I've got no chance to recharge my battery.
Tears are running down my face.Oops...
The modernization of the city brought out the internal rules to us: A man have to take all these attachements as necessities in order to lead a MODERN life.I have got this passionate feeling.A clear defination had came above the water:For different people of different ages, they have got different feelings,attitudes,friends,observations,behaviours,purposes...etc.I had came to recognize it,and accept it.
About the word 'INTERACTIVE'
We got different states of feelings, and the way we think.INTERACTIVE means 'effection between the one and another'. However,it has a literal meaning:let me give you an example first.
A problem occured. At first,we all haven't set up our opinion;but we have to.The first one has established an unstable opinion, and the others took the opposite position.THE PROBLEM BECAME CONFLICT.
It is now the deep night of Aug.18th.My younger sister will take her business in Aug.20th.48 PRECIOUS HOURS.With her sweet voice,I would give her everything.

You must do me this honor. You must promise me that you will survive..
(Both Rose and Jack are in the icy-cold sea now.)
ROSE: I love you, Jack.
JACK: No... Don't you do that. Don't say your good-byes. Not yet. Do you understand me?
ROSE: I'm so cold.
JACK: Listen, Rose. You're going to get out of here. You're going to go on and you're going to make lots of babies and you're going to watch them grow and you're going to die an old, an old lady, warm in your bed. Not here. Not this night. Not like this. Do you understand me?
ROSE: I can't feel my body.
JACK: Winning that ticket was the best thing that ever happened to me. It brought me to you. And I'm thankful for that, Rose, I'm thankful. You must do me this honor. You must promise me that you will survive... that you won't give up...no matter what happens...no matter how hopeless. Promise me now, Rose, and never let go of that promise.
ROSE: I promise.
JACK: Never let go.
ROSE: I will never let go, Jack, I'll never let go.
Rhett : I'm leaving you, my dear; all you need now is a divorce and your dreams of Ashley can come true.
Scarlett: Oh, no! No! You're wrong! Terribly wrong! I don't want a divorce! Oh, Rhett, when I knew tonight that I? when I knew I loved you, I ran home to tell you. Oh, darling, darling!
Rhett : Please don't go on with this. Leave us some dignity to remember out of our marriage. Spare us this last
Scarlett: "This last?" Oh Rhett, do listen tome! I must have loved you for years only? I was such a stupid fool I didn't know it. Please believe me! You must care! Melly said you did.
Rhett : I believe you, but what about Ashley Wilkes?
Scarlett: I?I never really loved Ashley.
Rhett :You certainly gave a good imitation of it up till this morning. No, scarlet, I tried everything, and if you'd only met me halfway, even when I came back from London?
Scarlett: Oh, I was so glad to see you! I was, Rhett, but?
Scarlett: But you were so nasty! (RHE: And then when you were sick and it was all my fault,)
Rhett : I hoped against hope that you'd call for me, but you didn't
Scarlett: I wanted you. I wanted you desperately! But I didn't think you wanted me.
Rhett : It seems we're been at cross purposes, doesn't it? But it's no use now. As long as there was Bonnie there was a chance we might be happy. I liked to think that Bonnie was you, a little girl again, before the war and poverty had done things to you. She was so like you, and I could pet her and spoil her, as I wanted to spoil you. When she went, she took everything.
Scarlett: Oh, Rhett! Rhett, please don't say that! I'm so sorry! I'm so sorry for everything!
Rhett : My darling, you're such a child. You think that by saying "I'm sorry," all the past can be corrected. Here, take my handkerchief. Never, at any crisis of your life, have I known you to have a handkerchief.
Scarlett: Rhett! Rhett! Where are you going?
Rhett : I'm going to Charleston, back where I belong.
Scarlett: Please! Please take me with you!
Rhett : No. I'm through with everything here. I want peace; I want to see if somewhere there isn't something left in life of charm and grace. Do you know what I'm talking about? (SCA: No)
Scarlett: I only know that I love you.
Rhett : That's your misfortune
Scarlett: Oh, Rhett! Rhett! Rhett! Rhett! But, Rhett, if you go where shall I go? What shall I do?
Rhett : Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.
Scarlett: I can't let him go! I can't! There must be some way to bring him back.
Scarlett: All right, I can't think about this now! I'll go crazy if I do! I? I'll think about that tomorrow? But I must think about it! I must think about it! What is there to do? What is there that matters?
Gerald : Do you mean to tell me, Katie Scarlett O'Hara, that Tara doesn't mean anything to you? Why, lt's the only thing that matters-it's the only thing that lasts.
Ashley : Something you love better than me, though you may not know it- Tara!
Rhett : it's this from which you get your strength-the red earth of Tara!
Gerald : Why! Land's the only thing that matters - it's the only thing that lasts.
Ashley : Something you love better than me -
Scarlett: Tara home .I am going home .I will find some way to get him back .After all tomorrow is another day.

Richard Winters: These men have been through the toughest training the Army has to offer, under the worst possible circumstances, and they volunteered for it.
'Buck' Compton: Christ, Dick, I was just shooting craps with them.
Richard Winters: You know why they volunteered? Because they knew that the man in the foxhole next to them would be the best. Not some draftee who's going to get them killed.
'Buck' Compton: Are you ticked because they like me? Because I'm spending time to get to know my soldiers. I mean, c'mon, you've been with them for two years? I've been here for six days.
Richard Winters: You're gambling, Buck.
'Buck' Compton: So what. Soldiers do that. I don't deserve a reprimand for it.
Richard Winters: What if you'd won?
'Buck' Compton: What?
Richard Winters: What if you'd won? Don't ever put yourself in the position where you can take from these men.

Green Power
"Shrek" is fun. People who haven't seen this movie, and are wary of seeing what's popular, should give it a try. It's worth watching, and will probably win you over.
Taking a Fractured Fairy Tale approach to a "Beauty And The Beast"-type plot, throwing in a few mild profanities, flatulence jokes, and Michael Myers' over-the-top faux-Scots accent, "Shrek" shows off a very snarky humor, full of jokes that will likely go over the heads of a cartoon's target audience while registering with their parents. 'Sure it's big enough, but look at the location,' Shrek observes upon seeing a giant castle in the middle of nowhere. The kids, though, will love 'Shrek' every bit as much. It's impossible not to be carried along by its merry madness.
Myers, as the title character, is certainly easier to take than he was in his last Austin Powers movie, his voice work registering real tenderness as well as the expected laughs as a misunderstood ogre who would rather tell a group of frightened villagers about the cruelties he will inflict on them and their dead bodies than cause those villagers any genuine harm. He's a bit of a softie, actually, and scared to let anyone know it.
Cameron Diaz is as beautiful to listen to hear as she is to look at in her other films. Her character, Princess Fiona, doesn't have as much room to shine as Shrek (the balance turns out better in the sequel) but she does well with what she's given.
The comic highpoints in terms of voice characterization is Eddie Murphy as Shrek's donkey companion and John Lithgow as nasty Lord Farquaad, who wants to rid his domain of Duloc of all fairy tale creatures. Murphy never stops being funny even as he helps set up key plot moments; in fact he's never been this funny since the first "Beverly Hills Cop" movie. "We can stay up late, swapping manly stories, and in the morning, I'm making waffles," the donkey tells a much put-upon Shrek, and you still laugh the fifth time you hear it. Lithgow just makes you smile whenever he opens his mouth, like when he grills a hapless gingerbread man in such a convoluted way it turns into a nursery-rhyme recitation.
Why exactly Farquaad is grilling this gingerbread man so closely isn't clear, and there are similar plot holes throughout the movie. Shrek may be too tame a character; we never really feel any worry around him. The donkey falls into a relationship with a dragon that screams "plot convenience," and there are strange little bits of cruelty, like turning a frog and snake into balloons, which just is thrown out there and let be.
But the central story, about how Shrek and Fiona struggle to overcome the odds and find true love, is really sweet and well-rendered. The animation is spectacular, a revolution for the eyes in its deep-dish panoramas and remarkable attention to textures. And the jokes keep flying, the major ones as well as hilarious bits of filigree you won't notice the first or second time but reward you for paying attention.
This is not a Disney movie, something "Shrek" makes very clear not only with its PG-13 humor but its knocks at Disney characters like Snow White and at the Magic Kingdom in the form of Duloc, where an array of "It's A Small World"-type dolls lecture Shrek and Donkey on all the things NOT to do. Frankly, "Shrek" could use a little injection of Disney heart, but Disney could use some of this picture's freshness as well. A very charming movie worth your time.

There is so little wrong with this film that I'll get the incidental negatives out of the way first. The introctory moments are somewhat confusing, and it takes about fifteen or twenty minutes to get the characters and situations straight. Madeleine Stowe's British accent is of the "now-you-hear-it, now-you-don't" variety, although her performance pretty much makes up for this inconsistency. Finally, the photography surrounding the waterfall is unconvincing. Other than that, The Last of the Mohicans is virtually flawless.
Cinematography and musical score combine in a breathtaking mosaic. Historical accuracy has been preserved (even if the movie takes liberties with James Fenimore Cooper's story). The battle scenes are easily the best choreographed since Glory -- there's so much going on that one viewing isn't enough to pick up on everything.
From beginning to end, there isn't a weak performance. As the bare-chested central character, a native-raised white man named Hawkeye, Daniel Day-Lewis shines, bringing acting acumen to the role of romantic adventure hero. Madeleine Stowe, Richard Dreyfuss' girlfriend in Stakeout, is equally appealing as Hawkeye's upper-class British love interest. The major characters are fully fleshed-out, and there's more audience empathy for the minor characters here than the protagonists in many other films. As is common in a realistic depiction of a war, very little is absolutely good or evil.
Finally, there's the story, which, while not all that complex, is of epic nature -- big, bold, and gloriously sweeping. It's about the love of Hawkeye, the adopted Mohican, and Cora, the daughter of a British commander stationed in America ring the mid-1700s. War and tragedy swirl around them as they struggle to find their own kind of private solace. Bold and stirring with impeccable proction values, The Last of the Mohicans is a memorable motion picture adventure, and one of the best films of the year.
The classic James Fenimore Cooper's novel is brought to screen is this suspenseful adventure. We're in 1757, Seven years wars, between French and English soldiers,French supported by Hurons and English by Mohawk and settlers and tribes allied to each side. The story is partially based on true events ,it's a historic fiction. The scout, frontiersman Hawkeye(Daniel Day Lewis)raised by Mohicans, and companions, his foster-father Chingachgook(Russell Means)and his son Uncas(Eric Schweig)rescue a small party headed for Fort Henry, constituted by the lovely Cora(Madeleine Stowe), and beautiful Alice(Jodhi May),they're Colonel Munro's(Maurice Reeves)daughters.Fort Henry is defeated by French colonel(Patrick Chereau)and the expedition is attacked by the nasty Magua(Wes Studi) and the Hurons, causing an authentic massacre .The brave Hawkeye save to sisters and along with the Mohicans and an official(Steve Waddington)flee ,being pursued by the revenge-minded Magua.
This is a thrilling film, plenty of graphical violence, blood, love with interracial romance included and breathtaking outdoors.Excellent action sequences with bloody attacks and spectacular and realistic battles.Charismatic performance for all casting.First rate acting for Daniel Day Lewis as a valiant Hawkeye.Madeleine Stowe is wonderful.Special mention to Wes Studi as an appropriately villainous in a powerful performance.Look for secondary actors to Peter Postlethwaite,Dylan Baker,Jared Harris among others.Rousing, memorable score by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman.Colorful cinematography by Dante Spinotti. The film achieved Oscar winner for best sound. The motion picture is marvelously directed by Michael Mann.Another version about this classic story: 1922, mute adaptation by Maurice Tourneur and Clarence Brown with Wallace Beery as Magua; the classic 1936 by George B Seitz with Randolph Scott as Hawkeye ;1985 TV movie by James L Conway with Steve Forrest and Ned Romero. Rating: Terrific film ,better than average and well worth watching.
The Last of the Mohicans is a 1992 historical epic film set in 1757 ring the French and Indian War. It was directed by Michael Mann and based on James Fenimore Cooper's classic novel, although it owes more to George B. Seitz's 1936 film adaptation than the source novel. The main cast includes Daniel Day-Lewis, Madeleine Stowe, Russell Means, Wes Studi, Eric Schweig and Jodhi May.
While the film, like the novel, is more of a historical romance, much care was taken with recreating accurate costumes and props. The film features a Fort William Henry reconstructed based on historical documents. The siege of the fort is a good representation of the siege warfare of the 18th century epitomized by General Montcalm's investment of Fort William Henry and the large scale military actions that marked the latter phase of the French and Indian War. One scene in the Director's Cut features Heyward and a group of British Grenadiers using the classic rank and file advance to decimate a group of French Regulars and enemy natives. This scene fairly accurately portrays how British soldiers would have behaved in the theatre and how effective they were in winning the war.
Col. Munro's real name was George, not Edmund. He also did not die in the massacre but in Albany three months later. He instead fled to the forest with other survivors and showed up at Fort Edward a few days later.
The movie implies that the Huron tribe were responsible for the massacre yet in reality, several tribes were involved. Other tribes included the Abenaki and Penobscot indians. It is also implied that Magua was responsible for initiating the attack, however, no indivial person was responsible.
Montcalm did not encourage the massacre as portrayed and was said to have been disgusted by it, but he did however cause it by not allowing his Indian allies to take the spoils of war from the defeated English. In reality he and several other French officers came out of the fort towards the end of the fighting and tried to stop the massacre. He even paid the ransom demands for some of the captives with his own money.
Although the movie primarily focused on the same characters throughout, the actual attack affected many more. As many as 75 soldiers and camp followers were killed, and between 300-500 were taken captive. Another 300-500 provincials and regulars escaped or found refuge with the French.
英文名字是The Last of Mohicans。
The Book Report Of The Princess Diaries
This week I watched a movie named The Princess Diaries in our spoken English class. The movie is about a 16-year-old girl named Mia. She lives with her divorced mother who once married to a prince, who was Mia’s father. Mia did not know she was a princess until one day her grandmother, Genovia’s Queen visited her mother and her. Mia is lost when she is faced with such a huge responsibility to run a country. She is the kind of girl who can not even fit in. In fact if people are not being polite, she could be called a nerd. Only a very ‘special’ girl is her good friend who criticizes Mia all the time especially after she knew Mia was a princess. Mia at first refuses to be a princess because she is not confident. She is really not good at speech .She always gets nervous that she even faints or runs away when speaking in public. However, Mia has to take the " princess lessons" and she needs to be a good princess in three weeks. At first, she feels embarrassed to admit that she is a princess. One day she finds out the dairy her father gave her as a birthday present, which said" The brave may not live forever, but the cautious do not live at all." She feels encouraged and attempts to be a princess; however, good things never go smoothly and she’s caught with a bunch of guys and newspapers exaggerate everything. She finds it hard to deal with the life of being a princess. On the day that her grandma is to announce the heir to the throne, Mia retreats and wants to flee away from becoming the queen of the country. However, that is a real rainy day and finally the pour-down wakes her up and she hurries to the palace and makes a great speech that she is the one for the throne. Then things are getting better, the princess and prince live happily ever after. Anne Hathaway plays the role of Mia. Anne is good, but she acts so corny or cheesy in this one. It’s such a girly movie and doesn't have any deep values that movies are supposed to have. Well, it's just one of those girly movies, meaningless and only good for a few laughs. The whole movie was so unreal and of course movies are never real, but it’s just… not good. Some of the movie parts annoy me a lot. How can the movie be so corny? I really don’t like it. Although I do not like this movie very much, but if I see it rationally, it’s still watchable and tolerable. It's also so predictable that if you snooze in the middle of it, you won't miss anything when you wake up. This is one of the few "kid's movies" that I wouldn't hesitate to watch with a kid, because it’s about how an ugly ckling becomes a swan. When we were kids it’s always great to know that every ordinary girl can become someone special. Girls will never lose hopes and try to be as amazing as possible .To some extent, that’s still an okay movie anyway.

Shawshank Redemption is one of the most exciting and morally satisfactory films in the 1990s. This is not just because it contains religious factors. God never cares for Shawshank, but because it is a story of looking for hope in the unshakable friendship between two people.
Crucially, as an age film based on a non horror short story by Stephen King, the film has never grown old. It is a moral fable about maintaining one's integrity and personal freedom, regardless of the environment. This is also true in real life, just as in this fictional fable.
