This is a great movie with great stars.Ed Harris has a very small role in the movie but still manages to impress.Nicole Kidman won an Oscar for her performance,and whiles she was great the one that truly deserved it was Juliana Moore.It was truly an amazing job she did in the movie and definitely her best since "Boogie Nights".The other noticeable thing in the movie is the amazing score by Philip Glass.He mainly uses pianos and strings in the movie and uses them well.There are no brass instruments,any percussion or vocals,just the piano and the violins playing throughout.really love despite how sad the movie is his music is kinda dreamlike and heartfelt,definitely a surprise and one of the best parts of the movie.
If you're looking for a movie with stellar acting,a great story and wonderful music then look no further than this.It might make you a bit depressed though.Just be sure to watch a comedy after that then you'll feel better.

It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portman's face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.
I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. I'm not. But I'm glad I finally found it, because it's a wonderful film in so many other ways.

1922年，她那带有实验性质、打破了传统叙述逻辑和充满印象拼贴的小说《雅各的房间》出版，这部小说也是对她哥哥精神成长的一份记录。该年在西方现代文学史上是一个意义非凡的年代，与她同年出生也同年死亡的乔伊斯出版了划时代着作《尤利西斯》、T•S艾略特发表了《荒原》。那一年她年届四十，精神处于相对稳定期。

《达洛卫夫人》是她第一部真正意义上现代主义长篇小说。它犹如乔伊斯的《尤利西斯》，以一天生活来刻画人物心理时间上的一生。漫长生活经历涌入人物意识河流中，不时在内心激起沉思、回忆、追索、感想、体悟生命的浪花，汇集着人物心理五彩缤纷的印象图案。吴尔芙完全摒弃了传统小说写作手法，开篇起就直接进入人物心灵世界。小说由两条并行不悖线索组成，来映显两个截然不同人物的内心。
克拉丽莎•达洛卫是一位中年妇女，她丈夫是国会议员。六月早晨，她出门买花，要为有首相参加的晚宴做准备（这一情景与《时时刻刻》中纽约女编辑出门买花相同）。那天阳光明媚，清风微拂。大本钟不时发出深沉悦耳之音。她思绪飘动，想到三十多年前同样一个阳光明媚的早晨，她和彼得正在恋爱。但她最终没有嫁给喜欢冒险的彼得而是嫁给了稳重的达洛卫先生。彼得将要从印度回来，她想，要是当初嫁给了彼得，她的一生会怎样？伦敦街头上的声色光影不时触动她的联想。
小说还有另一条线索：赛普蒂默斯•沃伦•史密斯，他是第一次世界大战中的退伍老兵，因受炸弹惊吓而患精神疾病。当达洛卫夫人在花店内听到街上传来一声汽车火花器发出巨响声时，他在街上游荡也听到了。最终，他为摆脱时时袭来的内心惊恐跳楼自杀。

范文：This film was absolutely amazing.I have spent hours re-watching various scenes and noticing all the perfection with which they are acted and directed.
It's not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...),but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leon's door.
It would be so easy to just film the door opening,but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portman's face,symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.
I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. I'm not.But I'm glad I finally found it,because it's a wonderful film in so many other ways.
