乌龟仙师近日有不祥预感。雪豹，外号大龙的大恶魔即将要突破困住它多年的黑牢。大龙出狱后必定会来和平谷复仇。于是，和平谷要马上召开武林大会，选出一名代表对抗太郎。
谷民最看好的是谷中五大高手：母老虎大师（安吉丽娜·朱莉）、美女蛇（刘玉玲）、猴大师（成龙）、鹤大师（大卫·克洛斯）以及螳螂大师（塞斯·罗根）。这五大高手在个子小小的师父浣熊，名字也就直接叫师傅（达斯汀·霍夫曼）设置的武台上一绝高下。

小熊猫师傅Shifu:功夫大师SHIFU是中国最出色的功夫教练，致力于培养“王中之王”的功夫高手。但是出色并不等于完美——他是一个严厉的导师，却总是被自己过去的过失所困扰。PO认为他是位“最没禅味儿的禅宗大师”。但这并不妨碍他将一个软弱的做面条的熊猫训练成一个有足够能力保护山谷不受太郎攻击的功夫斗士。但是看来，并不是只有PO一个人需要重新学习学习人生……让个小熊猫教大熊猫，有意思。

配音
电影从2005年开始筹备，到07年底才完成，随后又要开展配音工作。梦工厂动画大手笔地请来一堆好莱坞大牌明星担任配音工作，杰克·布莱克与熊猫阿波神形皆像，理所当然地成为该片主角的配音员。挺着大肚子的安吉丽娜·朱莉为华南虎大师配音、刘玉玲化身妖媚自负的蛇美女大师、成龙则成了猴大师，至于《一夜大肚》主角塞斯·罗根则为聪明的螳螂大师配音，最难得的是连达斯汀·霍夫曼都被请来给师傅配音，这是相当大的面子啊。
配乐
看电影时留心音乐，汉斯·辛莫（Hans Zimmer）为该片配的乐。汉斯·辛莫是谁？好莱坞电影配乐的大师之一，其拿奥斯卡奖的作品就是《狮子王》的配乐。其他像《雨人》、《尽善尽美》（As Good As It Gets）、《埃及王子》的配乐，还有备受音乐迷推崇的《细细的红线》（The Thin Red Line）和《角斗士》的原声全出自汉斯·辛莫之手，甚至连去年的《阿森一族大电影》的音乐也是他做的，还记得该片那首彪悍的《Spider-Pig》吗？说不定《功夫熊猫》中也能有这么“囧”的东西出现呢。
