对中国观众来说，最为熟悉的应该还是改革开放后不久引进的英国影片《尼罗河上的惨案》和《阳光下的罪恶》。确实，这两部拍摄于七、八十年代克斯斯蒂改编新高潮的影片制作精良、演员阵容强大，具有相当高的艺术价值，尤其是前者，所以就让我们从《尼罗河上的惨岸》一片说起吧。

Christine本是剧团一个默默无闻的小演员，在一个偶然的机会中，她顶替剧团的首席女演员上台演唱，那天使般的美妙歌声立刻受到了观众的热烈欢迎，也引起了她小时候的玩伴、英俊富有的子爵Raoul的注意。
