——
为了让人们在银幕上看到想要看的表现对象不同的距离、不同角度的形态，就产生了镜头的不同景别。景别主要是指摄影机同被摄对象间的距离的远近，而造成画面上形象的大小。景别的大小也同摄影镜头的焦距有关。焦距变动，视距相应发生远近的变化，取景范围也就发生大小的变化。景别的运用是影视艺术创作中的重要手段。为了塑好鲜明的影视形象，要求创作者根据人物的主次、剧情的需要、观众的心理，处理好景别的大小、远近。景别的划分没有严格的界限，一般分为远景、全景、中景、近景、和特写。为了使景别的划分有个较统一的尺度，通常以画面中人物的大小作为划分景别的参照物。如画面中无人物，就按景物与人的比例来参照划分。

远景
——摄影机远距离拍摄事物的镜头。镜头离拍摄对象比较远，画面就开阔，景深悠远。此种景别，能充分展示人物活动的环境空间，可以用来抒发感情，渲染气氛，创造某种意境。远景中视距最远的景别，称为大远景。它的取景范围最大，适宜表现辽阔广袤的自然景色，能创造深邃的意境。

全景
——出现人物全身形象或场景全貌的镜头。此种景别的视野相对小些，既能看清人物又可看清环境，故可以表现人物的整体动作以及人物和周围环境的关系，展示一定空间中人物的活动过程。它常常用来拍摄人物在会场。课堂、集市、商场等一定区域范围中的动作，是塑环境中的人或物的主要手段。

中景
——显示人物膝盖以上部分形象的镜头。此种景别的人物占有空间的比例增大，观众能看清人物的形体动作，并比较清楚地观察到人物的神态表情，从而反映出人物的内心情绪。在影视作品中是使用较多的基本景别。中景在主要表现人物的同时，也提供人一定的活动范围，如房间的一隅，院落的一角等。一部影视镜头的成功一与否，主要看中景的运用处理。
4.
近景
——表现人物的腰部或胸部以上形象的镜头。此种景别人像占据大部画面，环境变得零碎而模糊。观众已难于看全人物的动作，注意中心往往在人物的肖像和面部表情上。所以常用来表现人物的感情、心理活动，它的作用相当于文学作品吕的肖像描写，适宜于对人物音容笑貌、仪表神态、衣着服饰的刻画，突出人物的神情和重要的动作，也可用来突出相当的景物，是影视作品中大量运用的景别。

特写
——表现人物肩部以上部位或有关物体、景致的细微特征的镜头。它是视距最近的一种景别，能把表现的对象从周围环境中强调、突出出来，近使观众去注意某某关键性细节，诸如惊愕的眼睛、欲滴的泪水、颤抖的睫毛、抽搐的肌肉等等,造成强烈而清晰的视觉形象。当视距特近时，就称为大特写。特写镜头的作用是多方面的。可以介绍人物，突出影片的主体形象；可以突出贯穿的物体，可作转换时空的手段；还可与其它景别镜头反复，使速度节奏加快，造成紧张激烈的气氛。特写镜头不宜毫不无节制的滥用，一般应和全景结合起来使用。
