This movie tells the complete story from when Steve Rogers is a 90 pound weakling trying to join the army to his awaking in modern day America. They even do a great job with the love interest part of the movie, Rogers unrequited love is perfectly done for a comic book adaptation and perfectly in keeping with the tone of the 1940's in which this movie is set.
