《护航》片名的英文翻译是“One for All”，与吕潇然“牺牲小我，成就大我”的胸怀所契合，短片也一直在表达这个东西。小吕潇然和少年吕潇然都表达了女主的心之向往，而与雷佳音角色吃分手饭那一段就是直接说明了“牺牲小我”。这种翻译看起来与“护航”没什么关系，确实两种语言最美好的表达。
《相遇》的英文翻译是“Passing By”，中文名为相遇，英文名却是错过，这两种都是片中高远和方敏的状态，虽然确实是相遇了，但高远出于职责没有与其相识，所以也是擦肩而过。与《护航》的翻译方法相似，同一种内容的两个不同主题，都让故事本身变得深刻又感动。
