我不喜欢看科幻片，诸如星球大战、火星撞地球之类的，觉得那些东西未免异想天开了。我也不喜欢看恐怖片和鬼片，那纯粹是人吓人的玩意儿。但我喜欢看灾难片，或许因为人类与外星人或者鬼神的距离没有与计算机或环境污染的距离近，在可以预见的范围内编故事我还比较的能够接受，还能让人在看过之后静下心来寻思寻思人类自己的事儿。事实上，科幻片和灾难片常常是融合的。

《后天》就是这样一部让人想事儿的科幻灾难片。全球气候变暖，海平面上升，大气环流异常，龙卷风、飓风肆虐，冰雹有棒球那么大，城市被海水淹没，暴风雪，气温骤降......天灾面前，死亡被无限放大，生命脆弱得就像被踩在脚下的蚂蚁。

天灾面前，每个人都希望自己是幸运者，可是有些人只能带着遗憾，平静地等死（孤独困守在预报台的工作者）；有些人虽然挣扎着活下去，可是生与死的选择面前，谁也猜测不到自己抽到的是不是上上签（黑人警察的选择）。
