主角是一著名主持人，他成功當選了美國議員後，雄心勃勃，並向上帝許下改變世界的心願。後來，上帝現身，給了他一個「改變世界」的任務，那就是徒手造船，原因是「洪水即將到來」。主角半信半疑，但隨著洪水之日的臨近，在主角身上發生了許多奇特的事情，而主角的外形上也發生了大變化——儼然一個現代諾亞的樣子。周圍的人開始把主角當瘋子看待，其家人也難以接受他的怪異舉止，終於選擇離他而去。主角強忍著悲傷，繼續造船。後來在上帝的開導下，家人回來了，並幫助主角一起造船。在洪水來臨之日，主角召喚了所有動物（雌雄各一隻）上船，當他召喚人們上船時，卻引來無數譏嘲。當時正值晴空萬里，絲毫沒有下雨的跡象。就在主角的信念開始動搖之時，他想到了上帝的話，頓時醒悟，造船的經歷讓他更加珍惜家人與生命，他完成了改變世界的心願（改變自己的價值觀即可改變世界）。這時，一聲巨響，保護著這個鎮子的大壩突然崩潰了，原來，大壩的建設基金被主角的上司貪污，成了豆腐渣工程，而上帝早已知道大壩的崩潰之日，所以才給了主角造船的任務。真相大白，主角成功挽救了小鎮的居民，當然也包括那些曾惡意嘲笑詆毀他的人。事後，主角和家人的關系更加融洽，而他的價值觀與追求，也得到了升華，身為議員，他必將為民造福。

女主角聽完，便下定決心回去陪丈夫共度難關。

潘金蓮。
潘金蓮(1100年—？)，女，漢族，山東省陽谷縣人，是《水滸傳》中出現的虛構人物，《金瓶梅》對其進行了進一步的深化。
在《金瓶梅》中，其經歷、性格、生活等得到了多方面的二次創作，從而被塑造成一個美麗風流、心狠手辣、搬弄是非、淫慾無度的女人。西門慶的第五房妾，最後死於天傷星行者武松之手。
人物之死：
在《金瓶梅》中，潘金蓮是情慾的最高代表及書中死亡之最慘烈者。她是情慾的化身，這情慾不僅僅只指性慾方面，也指她充滿了旺盛的生命力。書中潘金蓮情慾失控，致人死者有武大郎、李瓶兒母子、宋惠蓮、西門慶諸人。
眾多評論家稱之為殺人兇手，對武松活剮潘金蓮如此慘無人道之事拍手稱快，恨不能手刃其人。盡管亦有不少人對潘金蓮之死深感悲哀與同情，但是，潘金蓮被釘上恥辱的十字架永無翻身之日，卻是不爭的事實。
在《水滸》中，武松殺之時為抓住發髻揪倒在地，開胸剖肚，掏出心肝五臟祭兄，並斬首用於祭祀。
