關於Hero
Music Box專輯中的第二支單曲。一首充滿力量和鼓舞精神的抒情曲。和Dreamlover一樣，這首歌最後成為冠軍曲。使得Mariah擁有了八首冠軍作品。值得一提的是，一開始Hero並不是給Mariah唱的，而是給由Dustin Hoffman和Geena Davis主演的電影Hero創作的主題曲。「在Epic唱片公司的人想要給這個電影創作一個原聲，」Walter Afanasieff 解釋道，「他們想要Mariah來演唱主題曲，但是在那個時候讓Mariah唱電影主題曲似乎不是很明智，所以，他們想要我和Mariah為電影創作一首作品。」
