作曲家Mika，原名Micheal Holbrook Penniman 1983年8月18日生於黎巴嫩首都貝魯特一個美黎聯姻的家庭（他的父親是美國人，母親是黎巴嫩人）。因為戰亂，Mika一家不得不在Mika十分小的時候帶他逃離黎巴嫩，幼年時期隨著家人輾轉巴黎，他9歲時，全家才在倫敦定居下來。 經過了那段充滿迷惑和巨變的時光，Mika變得十分內向，9歲時曾一度輟學，也正是從那時起他選擇了音樂來給予他庇護。

Mika（1983年8月18日─），英國創作歌手、音樂家，出生於黎巴嫩。由於戰亂，Mika幼年時舉家逃離黎巴嫩，隨著家人輾轉至巴黎，在他9歲時，全家移往倫敦定居。兒時不安定的時光，讓他變得封閉內向。但是，音樂就像守護神般，陪他度過童年生活。Mika的音樂辨識度極高，忽男忽女的唱腔和戲劇性的風格讓他獲得「英國新世代音樂鬼才」的美譽。2012年8月，Mika在雜志《Instinct》正式出櫃，表示自己是同性戀。
