Mr. McF is to sigh and cry over as his Darcy is handsome, in possession of a arresting voice, and provides a display of the great depth of his own sensitive nature. The costumes and scenery are colossally stunning, as is the editing, the script (most of it is Austen's own words), and anything else that makes a movie this beautiful. But Darcy greatly offends her by his supercilious behavior and this dislike is increased by Wickham, a dashing young militia officer of the unjust treatment he has met with at Darcy's hands.
One day when Darcy and Bingley’s two sisters disgusted with the vulgarity of Mrs. Bennet and her two youngest daughters, effectively separated Bingley and Jane. Meanwhile, Collins, a cousin of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, married charlotte, a friend of Elizabeth’s, for Elizabeth’s refuse to marry him. 先說說我發現的優點吧。從風格上看，它有與眾不同之處，這是毫無疑問的。大多數書都是從男性的角度來寫，即使是《簡愛》和《呼嘯山莊》這樣以女性為主角的小說，也基本上從男性的角度去詮釋，而《傲慢與偏見》則明顯地充滿了女性思想色彩，包括世界觀及生活方式。這一點在寫作內容上得到最好的體現：假如是男作家，寫作的作品大多具有驚險色彩(只是強弱的問題)，而本書中，最激動人心的一段也不過是威克姆與伊麗莎白之妹私奔(而且結局並不悲慘)，作者能想到的最惡劣的行經也只是一些人與人之間的簡單欺騙;貫穿全文的一件事就是母親如何嫁女兒。這一系列的事實，都表現了這本書的女性化，而這類書在那個時代當然極少，所以我認為這是本書極大的成功之處。
一部好的小說應當可以反映一個時代的風貌，就這一點而言，此書也表現得相當成功。讀了這本書，頭腦中不難形成當時歐洲女性社會的狀況——所有女子都以嫁出去作為一種榮譽，而不管嫁給誰，婚取成了婦女唯一的人生目標，真正的感情既少見，又難以被理解，作者深刻揭露與批判的正是這些。
談到缺點，我想與其他書作比較：就利用語言的能力而言，它不如《基督山伯爵》;就故事的曲折豐富性而言，它不及《亂世佳人》;就表現社會顯示的高度而言，它不及《高老頭》;就人物心理描寫而言，它不及《紅與黑》。但畢竟這些缺陷很大程度上是由它要描寫的社會現實決定的。

2.Pride and Prejudice was an absolutely fantastic film. A great cast, and Keira Knightly did an excellent job and Matthew Macfadyen was a wonderful in the role of Mr Darcy. The cinematography was so ridiculously good, there were some fantastic shots and the costumes were also fantastic. The script was fairly good, it is true to the classic by Jane Austen, Mr Wickam could have made more of an appearance, and had a striking resemblance to one Orlando Bloom. The movie moved fairly fast but trying to fit such a novel into two hours had to be hard anyway, so I say well done to all involved, as such a beloved book can be a hard project to take on, but after watching it I really can't wait until to see it again!!!
