拿到大學學位後的阿甘在一名新兵的鼓動下參軍 入伍。在軍營里，阿甘被教官譽為智商達到160的最聰明的士兵，因為上帝還賜給他一個單純正直，不存半點邪念的頭腦，他只知道服從，任何訓練科目他總能鶴立雞群。他還結識了熱衷捕蝦的布巴，兩個偏執狂之間產生了深厚的友誼 。 而此刻，阿甘一直深深迷戀的珍妮因為《花花公子》 拍攝裸照而被學校開除，在一家夜總會 做起了裸體 歌手。又一次阿甘幫珍妮擺脫了色狼 的糾纏，而珍妮卻慍怒的說他不可能永遠保護她。她囑咐即將遠赴越南 戰場的阿甘遇到危險就趕緊跑。

阿甘的母親因癌症 去世。阿甘不願為名利所累，做了義務割草工。珍妮回來了，送給他一雙跑鞋 。一天夜晚，珍妮投入了阿甘的懷抱，第二天清晨卻悄然離去。 阿甘決定跑步，但他不知道該跑向哪裡，3年多跑遍了美國的每個角落。終於一天，他感覺累了，准備回家。阿甘接到了珍妮的信，按照地址找到了珍妮和他們的兒子，值得欣慰的是小阿甘聰明機靈。

結婚之後他們度過了一段幸福時光，但一切阻止不了珍妮病情的惡化。阿甘將珍妮埋在兒時的樹下，經常來陪她聊天。 小阿甘也到了上學的年齡，阿甘送兒子上了校車，一根被夾在書里的羽毛 落到地上，被風吹起，又開始飛上天空。

2、其次是要培養自己的語感。這就要求我們平時結合在聽的基礎上，要多說。條件允許的話，我們可以多交些外國朋友，堅持用英語交流，創造良好的語感環境。

如果不能的話可以多多參與一些比如英語角之類的培訓，給自己創造條件。語言是用來交流的，多說是學好英語的根本。

3、然後是充實自身的單詞庫。單詞是學好英語的關鍵一環，英語是由一個個單詞和詞彙組成的。

你懂語法，可是沒有表達意思的詞，那是有多尷尬。因此，平時要我們要多背單詞，多記單詞，有了足夠的詞彙量，好處多多，不僅可以減少我們的閱讀障礙，也能減少我們的寫作、交流障礙等。

4、還有就是要多做英語試題，尤其是裡面的閱讀理解題。增強理解分析能力。就好像練武功，也需要秘籍。這樣才能做到人劍合一。
