"Shit happens" is a common slang phrase, used as a simple existential observation that life is full of imperfections.
The phrase was featured in the movie Forrest Gump'', where a minor character steps on an unspecified object, implied to be dog excrement. When the main character, Forrest, observes, "It happens," it supposedly inspires the minor character to spawn the "shit happens" slogan.

Norrington: Keep your guns on him, men. Gillette, fetch some irons. Well, well... Jack Sparrow, isnt it?
Jack: Captain Jack Sparrow, if you please, sir.
Norrington: Well, I don't see your ship...Captain?
Jack: I'm in the market as it were.
Private1: He said he'd come to commandeer one.
Private2: Told ya he was telling the truth. These are his, sir.
Norrington: No additional shots nor powder. A compass that doesnt point north. And I half expected it to be made of wood. You are, without doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of.
Jack: But you have heard of me.
Elizabeth: Commodore, I really must protest.
Norrington: Carefully Lieutenant.
Elizabeth: Pirate or not this man saved my life.
Norrington: One good deed is not enough to redeem a man of a lifetime of wickedness.
Jack: Though it seems enough to condemn him.
Norrington: Indeed.
Jack: Finally.
Gov. Swann: No, no! Don't shoot!
Jack: I knew you'd warm up to me. Commodore Norrington, my effects, please. And my hat. Commodore! Elizabeth, it is Elizabeth, isn't it?
Elizabeth: It's Miss Swann.
Jack: Miss Swann, if you'd be so kind. Come, come, dear, we don't have all day. Now if you'll be very kind. Easy on the goods, darling.
Elizabeth: You're despicable.
Jack: Sticks and stones, love. I saved your life, you saved mine, we're square. Gentlemen, milady. You will always remember this as the day that you almost caught...Capitan Jack Sparrow.
Will: You're the one they're hunting. The pirate.
Jack: You seem somewhat familiar. Have I threatened you before?
Will: I make a point of avoiding familiarity with pirates.
Jack: Ah. Well, then it would be a shame to put a black mark on your record. So, if you'll excuse me. Do you think this wise, boy, crossing blades with a pirate?
Will:You threatened Miss Swann.
Jack: Only a little. You know what you're doing, I'll give you that. Excellent form. But how's your footwork? If I step here...Very good. Now I step again. Ta.
1. In the market
In the market 意為"Wanting to possess, eager to have, seeking",表示想擁有的東西時,用for 接名詞表示,例如:The crowd was in the market for more entertainment.
2. Warm up to
Become friendlier or more receptive toward",例如:I had a hard time warming up to my mother-in-law.
4. Sticks and stones.
Stick and stone may break my bones, but names will never hurt me.

1. Crap, Dude, Whack;

Chandler:Seriously? Seriously,no! You call play your own age which is 31!

Joey: I'm 30 !

Rachel:Joey,you are notJ You're 31.

Joey:AWW crap!

Joey:Ohh…I wonder if that de.

Monica:There's a de?

2.Straight, Le *** ian;Gay;

Ross:Yes.And another time after that.Boy I'm getting hungry! Hey Joey, have you ever been so hungry on a date that When a girl goes to the bathroom you eat some of her food?

Kristen:You said the waiter ate my crab cake.

Joey:Yeah. So uh Ross, well now——why did that first marriage breakup? Was it because the woman was straight or she was a le *** ian?

3.Be A「racted to:Haave a Crush on Somobody:Freak out:

Rachel:No?All right, here's the truth um,Joey said What he said, because um,I'm attracted to you.

Tag:Wow.

Rachel:Yeah,I admit it.I have a crush on you,and uh,and, and I know that's crazy because we work together, and-and nothing could ever happen, and the last thing I want to do is-is to freak you out or make you feel unfortable.

I'm freaking out.

4.Come on to Somebody;

Rachel:That-that you came on to me?

Ross:There's the one!

Rachel:But you did! I mean,let's be honest.

Ross:Yes let's.Y'know what? Uh ,it's-it's not important.What is important is that,is that we're having a baby.And it's not——Doesn't matter who came on to who.

He came on to me.

5.Steal One's Thunder

Monica:See,I've been waiting my whole life to be engaged, and unlike some people I'm only planning on doing this once. So,uh y'know, maybe this is selfish and I'm sorry about it,but I was kinda hoping tonight could just be about that.

Ross:It is! It is!

Monica:No it』s not! No! No! Now it's about you and Ross getting back together!

Monica:See yeah umm,you kinda stole my thunder!

Ross:Okay! Ho-ho! We did not steal your thunder because we are not getting back together!

6.Dry Spell

Ross:I actually had a topic in mind! I'm,I'm kinda going through a dry spell, sex wise.

Joey:Whoa,for like months7.

Ross:Five to be lying,six.

Joe~:Six months? Whoa that's rough.

7. Break up With Somebody;Chemistry;

Phoebe:I'm,I'm breaking up with you.

Monica:You're fired.

Tim:Why?

Monica:……But,well I just--I like things done a certain way and the chemistry's just not right.

Phoebe:Oh that's good, the chemistry thing for us too.

或者c We got a breakup. She broke up with me.

There is no chemistry beeen us.

8.Dump Somebody;Jerk;

Carol:Listen,we both know you're gonna do it 'cause you're not a jerk,Okay?……

Ross:No,Rachel doesn't want me to....

Carol:Look, I-I-I am sorry that Rachel mped you 'cause she fell in love with that Mark guy,and you are the innocent victim in all of this,…

She mped me for that rich guy.

I'm really a jerk.

9.Get over;Date:

Rachel:Monica,what are you doing?

Chandler:Well, she spent the last six months getting over him,and now she's celebrating that by going on a date with him.

Monica:It's not a date,okay……

英語中用來表述的詞就是「Get over somebody or something"。 Pm trying to get over her (him).或者I'm getting over it.

I have a date tonight with a guy.

10.Have a Bone to Pick With Somebody;

Rachel:Coming.

Ross:I have a bone to pick with you.

Rachel:Uh-oh.

Ross:Yes! Ben learned a little trick.
