The animated characters are adorable and even though they are very contemporary, and the movie takes place ring the depression, kids will be able to relate to the animated fantasy characters - since they are fantasy characters, there is no reason they can't be contemporary. Overall a nice story for kids, with some good lessons for kids re: love, loyalty, perseverance, intelligence.

Despicable Me 2 is a brilliant film with a great storyline and an impressive voice cast.
I definitely wouldnt say it was better than the first Despicable Me,the first one was a lot more heartwarming,but it still is a very good sequel and has everything you want in a family film,humor for both young and older audiences.
However,the story of the movie feels very scattered and throughout I felt like they were trying to fit too much in one hour and a half. I still enjoyed it nevertheless!

In the movie, there was a panda and his friends such as a tiger, a monkey and so on .The panda named Polo was so fat that he couldn』t see his own toes when he looked down .But he was very cute and full of fun, so many people like him .He was not an ordinary panda but an hero when appearing in KungFu PandaⅡ.Like many other movies in this kind, there was also a king who was very cruel. Of course, it was Polo and his friends』 mission to kill the bad guy. They made it. There were many problems, of course, when they tried their best to kill the king. And they overcame them by their courageand,above all, their friendship.
As for myself, through the movie, I learned many important things-confidence, courage and friendship. I realize that no one can defeat us so long as we are equipped with these important things.

This film was absolutely amazing. I have spent hours re-watching various scenes and noticing all the perfection with which they are acted and directed. Its not the violence or action sequences that make this movie so great (although they are well done...), but rather moments like where Mathilda knocks on Leons door. It would be so easy to just film the door opening, but instead we see light illuminating Natalie Portmans face, symbolizing something angelic. And the moment has so much more meaning.
I know a lot of people who have seen this film because they are action fans. Im not. But Im glad I finally found it, because its a wonderful film in so many other ways.

Rather, it sticks to the story itis telling without resorting to flashy tricks to grab the audience』s attention.Although there is violence, some of it extreme, it is necessary to show the kindof place the prison is and is certainly not gratuitous.
The main theme is hope,not despair, and the violence serves only as a backdrop to that message.Unashamedly a feelgood movie, by the end one is wishing only that it wouldcontinue for a few more moments.

He learns to know how to live together with the tiger that may eat him at any moment. However, with so many difficulties, the boy and the tiger successfully reaches the land and saves their lives.
As is shown in the movie, when we are in trouble, not only should we be brave, but also smart. More importantly, we should never give up our hope when faced with hardships. Nothing is impossible if we believe in ourselves. As an old saying goes, "Where there is a will, there is a way."
