看到這個名字就知道故事的結局，肯定是happy ending，一眼就能看穿的劇情也許就沒那麼精彩。看這部片子的時候我處於事業的彷徨期，進退都不知道方向。安逸讓最初的夢想變的更加遙遠起來。而電影里的主人公不然，生活本身就處於搖擺奔波中，每天拎著四十磅的機器穿梭，偶爾自嘲。正因為他的生活漸入絕境才能激起他對最初夢想的堅持。才能讓他一點點成功。我們從小都被這樣的故事教育著。看一個走投無路的`人如何一點點絕處逢生。
人們樂意看這樣的故事，因為能給自己找到力量，每每聽聞總會想，我比他狀態好多了，那麼我也會有希望。也許這就是美國人的簡單的思維。但是這樣單純美好的故事未嘗不能填補空虛，給人力量.
影片的一個重要線索就是他們居住環境的變化，從破舊的公寓到，汽車旅館，公共廁所，教會收容所。一步步的落魄，但是由於影片的名字讓觀者一點都不擔心最終的命運。反而更加的留意於各個狀態下父子。更加關注主人公是如何一點點找到命運的出口。

雖然我們都很絕望，但無論如何不能放棄對希望的尋找。在內心深處還是期待峰迴路轉的嫣然一笑。
我最喜歡的一段是在地鐵里，父子都很沮喪，第一次無家可歸，爸爸把賣不出去的機器說成時間機器，對兒子說我們回到了恐龍時代，我們被恐龍襲擊，啊，我們找到一個洞口。小時候我就老幻想這樣的場面，希望能在某處找到安全的庇護。父親是兒子的庇護，但父親呢，只能在廁所里反鎖大門，抱著孩子哭泣。
最終父親靠著對夢的執著一點點實現，這些都是情理之中也沒有什麼波瀾，不過確實讓人最善意的希冀得到了滿足。希望付出終有回報。
總之是一部很簡單的影片，簡單到可以做中學生的立志教材。雖然背後的故事是真實的，但藝術就是藝術，表現出來的傷痛已經不知道被剝離了多少層。
這部片子還有一點處理挺可笑，就是把所有中國人寫成貧窮，英語不好，或者不負責人的幼稚園老師。是美國貧困小孩不得已的選擇。不過他們都是善良淳樸。
拋開階級感情不談，可以看出美國人處理手法的形式化，也許正是他們簡單明了的表達方式的體現。

At the beginning of this movie, we find the word "happiness" which is mistaken by "happyness" on a wall. Christ made every effort to tell his son the correct spell of this word,and Christopher asked his father naturally,'Is 'fuck' spelt right?' Chris was totally embarrased, saying that 'fuck' is a word used to express anger and something, but you are not supposed to use it, you know……
Certain it is that the father want to give his son a good ecation by attempting to tell him what to do and what not to do. The man is also of great ambition. The kid, Christopher, also leaves me a deep impression. Although he and his father usually have a hard time and even have no place to stay, he is determined to trust his father. What a good boy! In modern times, an increasing number of people tend to lose faith in their family. In the contrast, Christopher has given us a vivid lesson and set a great example for those people.
The movie is inspired by a ture story, and Christ finally come out of all the difficulties and achieve his great success by becoming a stockbroker. 對於幸福，每個人都有各自不同的定義。但是，不管幸福被賦予了何種內涵，若想真正獲得幸福，就理所應當去追求。畢竟，沒有什麼幸福是唾手可得的。於是，由此引伸出不少關於「追求幸福」這一主題的電影。而《當幸福來敲門》，則是其中很值得一看的一部勵志片，它激勵著人們努力奮斗，去追求自己的幸福。
《當幸福來敲門》的英文影片名為《The Pursuit of Happiness》。其實直譯過來是「追求幸福」，這樣的中文片名或許是一目瞭然。可就個人而言，我更偏向於「當幸福來敲門」。這樣的意譯讓影片意味更加深刻。記得影片結尾，當克里斯父子一起漫步於大街上，愉快地聊天時，忽然傳來一陣「咚咚」的敲門聲，可父子倆全然不知，走遠了，只留下空氣中幸福的笑聲。看完這片尾，我更清楚地意識到這片名的含義：要走過那麼長那麼坎坷的一段路，幸福才會來。「幸福來敲門」的前提是「努力敲門」直到「敲開門後的幸福」。只有你努力地敲幸福住所的那扇門，直到它開啟了，幸福才願意回過頭去敲你的門。幸福的來臨是不知不覺的，它眷顧著那些努力追求它的人們。

Chris Gardiner (Willl Smith), a black young man living in San Francisco, keeps a wife and young son as a salesman. Chris never felt a happy life, of course, not very painful, and lived a ll life like thousands of ordinary men in the United States. Until one day, a series of sudden changes made Chris know how precious the plain days were. First of all, he lost his job and the company laid off his job. Chris has been in a series of big hits, and his wife's six year old son (Jayden Smith) is taken away by his wife because he can't stand the long indignant life. Second:when the movie started,Chris was in the crowd jammed the streets to push forward,in the smiling faces in only his bewildered,stood helpless with.And towards the end of the film,Chris was in the same place,look left to meet the emotional tears and applause for his rallying.In the calendar through suffering,sorrow,abandonment,abjection,helplessness,despair,after Chris with patience,hard work and attitude of never giving up in exchange for part of his life,the good old days.So in the moment through the probationary period,Chris is happy.

In preparation for writing this comment, which I am compelled to write for reasons which will become clear, I read a fair few of the major critics to see, if on this occasion, they had seen and felt what I had.
James Bernadelli suggests this film should be known as the "Pursuit of Richness"; another column I have read suggests that the money-will-solve-your-problems resolution is depressing and not the message Hollywood (or art in general) should be trying to put across.
I ask myself when the last occasion might have been that any of these critics genuinely had to :spoiler: run, under painful, embarrassing ress, from a cab - because they didn't have the money; or when the forces of life seemed to conspire against them so unfairly that they broke down in tears. Spoiler: when your wealthy boss, who you CANNOT disappoint, asks you to borrow the last five dollars in your wallet, and you know that that money is all you have in the world - to feed your family, to pay your gas.
You go through times in life when you feel that things couldn't possibly get worse - and then they do - and then they do again. Sometimes, (like Chris and son at the beach towards the end of the film) you just want to get away from it all, other times you cry. Sometimes, and this is rare, you laugh - because if you don't you'll cry. You know that if you let it all become too much, you will sink to the bottom of the sea.
Chris Gardner (not the real one perhaps, but the one in this movie) is my personal hero; my shining example; my inspiration - the guy that never allows himself to sink - even when he can feel his shoelaces trailing on the seabed.
I realised as I was watching this film that I was watching another me, so I never once stopped rooting for Chris. When he :spoiler: fixes the scanner in the shelter, I felt like I had fixed it.
I'm still working on getting the job that earns me enough to have a less painful life - when Chris finally achieves it, I want it for him so badly that I feel it in the very fibre of my being.
I suppose that it doesn't matter that much that Chris wants to succeed as much for his son as for himself. In a way, the fact that Chris has a son makes this movie emotionally frightening and if (and only if) our basest fears are being toyed with by the director, it is only in exactly the same way that we sometimes look up in to the sky and say - like Jim Carrey in "Bruce Almighty" - is there anything else you could possibly do to me today? In my life, God doesn't appear and explain why he keeps toying with me. The truest belief is in oneself and one must never lose it.
I adore this movie and I couldn't be more grateful for its existence. It comes at a time when I need it most. Its message: Keep going - never, ever give up.
And so I come back to those reviewers. Money certainly doesn't mean happiness in this existence, but no money, in this cruel capitalist world, can cost you your life. Do not be judgmental of those who want more, it might just be enough to pay for their son to eat, to keep a roof over his head, to keep their dignity. This film is not about rags-to-riches as some reviewers have said. It's not about the American dream either. It is about dignity and integrity and how money (or lack thereof) could easily strip you of both.
Chris Gardner never loses either and for this, he is an inspiration to us all.

Christ was unfortunate, for he got a wife who was not understandable at all (though she has her own difficulties) and was in bad luck with his business. But he was very fortunate also, for he got a son who was very thoughtful and, I think, tough life experiences always make a great person.
