首先，相對於《盲》來說，《我是證人》在電影的敘事上更加直白。有些道理乾脆直接借主演之口表達。諸如「有的人眼盲心不盲，有的人眼不盲心盲」；「你知道為什麼盲人走夜路要打燈嗎……」(具體台詞有點記不清了)。這些台詞本身是很值得玩味的，但是在電影的那些情節中的加入略顯突兀。導演似乎想要趕緊讓觀眾進入狀態，所以把想法表現得過於直白了點。
不過，中國的《我是證人》還是有可圈可點的地方。鹿晗飾演的輪滑少年可謂是賺足了觀眾的眼球，浪盪不羈、追逐自由、心地純良的形象被鹿晗演繹得活靈活現。看著他操著一口略帶京片子的普通話，偶爾飆出一兩句臟話，我想他也在深入地體會著這個角色吧。另外，整部電影像是給鹿晗量身定製一般，我們在其中會看到他秀輪滑、秀歌舞，還略帶著秀一絲賣萌搞笑，無所不能。光是看到鹿晗深情款款地望著你，估計就能挑撥一眾女粉躁動的內心，值回票價了。只是鹿晗本身的形象過於甜美，會讓人覺得這個角色缺少一點痞子氣。
